I'm David — an SRE/Cloud engineer based in New Zealand.
I spent a decade running large-scale operations at Tencent, where I led Ads operations for the data platform — billing, data warehouse/ETL, and Ad recommendation systems at hundreds-of-millions-of-users scale. These days I work on DevOps/SRE, systems architecture, and cloud infrastructure, with a particular soft spot for an unfashionable problem: making legacy AWS workloads deploy
safely without forcing them onto Kubernetes.

- 十年运营开发、海量运维和架构规划经验，曾任腾讯数据平台部广告运维负责人。主要负责计费帐务、数据仓库 / ETL、广告推荐等数据平台类业务的运营开发和运维规划工作，精通海量服务的架构设计和自动化运维建设。
- 目前专注于 DevOps / SRE、系统架构、云原生 (Cloud Native) 领域的实践探索。近期在写一个英文系列：同一个遗留系统上十年四代部署体系的演进（CodeDeploy → 蓝绿 → 分层 AMI → 全烘焙 AMI + Instance Refresh），配套的 Terraform module 已开源。
